The Welsh Assembly Government is undertaking a consultation exercise, A Living Wales, to establish effective ways of managing our environment in the future.

This is an important process, as WAG have recognized a failure to meet targets for halting declines in biodiversity. Views and ideas are invited, with a closing date of 31 December 2010.

The Welsh Ornithological Society have now published its own response (pdf) to the consultation, and are encouraging birdwatchers across Wales to respond too.

Have your say.
