Lesser Redpolls have been in long-term decline, though their populations have stabilised in recent years.  Why?

Up to seven visited my garden each day last winter, feeding on nyger seed. This appears to have been a trend across the country and BTO are running a short survey to help build a picture, of why this small finch is visiting gardens more often.

Can you help by taking part?
